Meet the experienced and friendly doctors who make Southglenn Eyecare a proud provider of vision care products and services in Colorado.
Dr. Jon Pederson is a Colorado native with a strong background in clinical care, education, and public health optometry. He brings decades of experience serving diverse patient populations through private practice, teaching, and extensive local and international volunteer work.
Originally from Littleton, Dr. Pederson graduated from Washington State University with a degree in Biology/Zoology. He graduated with honors from Pacific University College of Optometry in 2003. Dr. Pederson completed an additional year of residency training in the areas of Geriatrics and Hospital-Based Optometry at the Portland Veterans Administration Medical Center. He continued to work at the VA medical center as well as teaching courses in ocular disease and advanced clinical procedures at Pacific University College of Optometry until 2005.
Upon returning to the Denver area, Dr. Pederson was the Clinical Director at the Colorado Optometric Center in Five Points, a non-profit teaching clinic providing eye care to indigent patients throughout Denver. Dr. Pederson remains active within the public health sector, volunteering for the Colorado Coalition for the Homeless Stout Street Clinic since 2005, as well as serving as a consultant optometrist for the Fort Logan Mental Health Center. He has also led several international volunteer eye missions, including Mexico, Moldova, and Ecuador.
Dr. Pederson currently lives in Denver with his wife, Courtney, and their two children, Harper and Lincoln. He enjoys spending his free time with his family as well as traveling, running, and skiing.

Dr. Samantha Kincaid is a dedicated optometrist with a strong foundation in comprehensive primary eye care and advanced clinical training. She is committed to providing high-quality, personalized care to her community and is proud to be part of the Southglenn Eyecare team.
Dr. Kincaid is originally from Scotland but has spent almost 30 years living in the US. Dr. Kincaid attended San Diego State University for her Undergraduate schooling, where she earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology in 2008. She earned her Doctorate of Optometry degree and graduated with honors from the Western University of Health Sciences in 2014.
Dr. Kincaid has a special interest in primary eye care and is experienced in the co-management of refractive and cataract surgeries, ocular disease diagnosis and management, and enjoys specialty contact lens fittings.
She is a member of the American Optometric Association, the Colorado Optometric Association, and the Beta Sigma Kappa Optometry Honors Society.
Dr. Kincaid lives with her husband, Jeff, and dog Remy. In her free time, you will likely find her hiking, traveling, and spending time with her friends and family.
